Features
Everything Docker on Windows should have been.
JellyDock combines Hyper-V nodes, secure access and a practical web UI in one application.
Nodes
Lightweight Linux VMs, managed for you
A node is a small Alpine Linux virtual machine in Hyper-V that runs Docker. JellyDock creates it, keeps its disk in one place and shows its state, so you always know where your containers live.
- Create and manage several nodes
- Each node has its own disk you can back up
- Works on Windows 10/11 and Windows Server 2019+
Networking
Published ports open on your Windows host
When a container publishes a TCP port, JellyDock itself listens on that port on the host and relays traffic to the node. There are no netsh commands and no manual firewall juggling for your container ports.
- Dual-stack listeners (IPv4 and IPv6)
- Works automatically for every running container
- TCP today. UDP is on the roadmap
Security
No open Docker port. Mutual TLS instead.
A Docker API without authentication is an open door. JellyDock puts a proxy in front of each node that only accepts clients with a certificate from your own JellyDock CA, and closes the plain port during setup.
- Own certificate authority and client certificate
- Safe switch-over with automatic rollback
- Expiry shown in the UI, renew with one click
- Webhook calls are protected against SSRF
Teams
Users, terminal, files and webhooks
Give teammates their own logins, open a terminal in the browser, move files in and out of containers and trigger external systems with webhooks. These tools are part of the Pro and Business plans.
- Multiple users on Pro and Business
- Browser terminal and file manager
- Webhooks for your automation
Reliability
Built to keep going when a node is slow
Docker calls run with sensible timeouts and automatic retries, so one busy node does not freeze the whole interface. Licences are checked once a day, not on every click.
- Timeouts and retries on node calls
- Self-contained application, no extra runtime to install
- Update an installation with the included script
Roadmap
What we are working on next
Planned, not promised. Priorities follow what customers ask for.
- Ports overview with conflict warnings
- Start page across all nodes
- Container detail page
- Windows folder bind mounts
- host.docker.internal support
- UDP port forwarding
- Build images from the UI
- Pull and redeploy
